Custom loadouts/factions

speaking about faction customisation I have some questions about classes, i mean i'd like to know what class do what and when the game logic uses them in order to build some coherent faction to play in campaign mode

i.e.
in the friendly loadout we have some classes that have one item (like TankorAPC or UnarmedCar) and other that can support more items (like FriendlyScoutVehicles) 
so you can have one kind of unarmed car and one or more of scout vehicles, is this correct?

same for the opfor template, one item for sTank1ArmedCar and one or more for EnemyAirToAirSupports ?

On a dedicated server the AI continually loose their Ammo, even when you tell them to rearm they loose it again. only seems to happen on a Dedicated Server.
